Astanga yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that consists of a specific series of powerful postures that focuses on increasing strength, flexibility and concentration of the mind. In the Astanga Mysore class, the practice will be taught one-on-one as a self-practice.
You will be carefully guided by a teacher through the series step by step and at your own pace. By learning to practice on your own, you have the opportunity to cultivate a regular self-practice
No experience or prior knowledge of the sequence is required, just some curiosity and a willingness to learn. The sequence does not need to be memorised before you start.
